The Trend WS Plug Maker in 3/8" diameter is perfectly suited to smaller timber plug applications, offering exceptional precision for neat, unobtrusive fixing concealment. With a 1/2" shank, this Carbon Steel plug maker fits securely into pillar drills and bench drilling machines. Manufactured to a high standard, it features CNC ground flutes for improved cutting edge geometry and precise diameter tolerance. The precision ground internal bore has a slight conical shape to ensure accurate plugs every time, while the large withdrawing zone allows easy plug removal and the creation of variable length plugs. Shanks are ground to reduce vibration and improve cut quality. Designed to exactly match the holes produced by Trend Saw Tooth Forstner bits (groups 1306 & 1307). Not for use on abrasive timber, hard plastics, or metal. Not for use with hand-held power tools or routers.
