Trend Threaded Insert for Wood

This Trend Threaded Insert for Wood is supplied in an M8 thread size and comes in a pack of 50, making it well suited to trade users and high-volume workshop applications. The M8 thread provides a robust fixing suitable for heavier-duty joinery and furniture construction where greater load-bearing capacity is required. Designed for use in solid woods, man-made boards, and fibre boards including MDF, these inserts create a durable, reusable threaded connection that withstands repeated assembly and disassembly. The enlarged flange ends are a key design feature, preventing the insert from pulling through the material under continual use — keeping fixings secure over the long term. Installation requires access to the underside of the workpiece, where the insert is located prior to fastening.
