Product details

The Trend Kitchen Worktop Jig Offset Scriber is a precision marking tool designed to quickly and accurately position worktop jigs when cutting and fitting kitchen worktops. When cutting worktops using a router with a guidebush, there is an inherent offset between the cutter and the guidebush. This tool accounts for that offset ratio automatically, removing the need for manual measuring and reducing the risk of costly errors. Using the first cut as a reference, the Offset Scriber transfers the exact second cut position directly to the workpiece. This ensures consistently high accuracy across both cuts, which is particularly important when working in tight tolerances. The tool is especially useful when fitting worktops between walls, where joints must be marked precisely for a clean, professional finish. It is equally well suited to scribing against out of square walls, where setting out the correct cut position by measurement alone would be difficult and prone to inaccuracy. Features and Benefits: • Accounts for the cutter and guidebush offset ratio automatically • Transfers the second cut position from the first cut — no measuring required • Ideal for fitting worktops between walls with fine tolerances • Suitable for scribing against out of square walls • Minimises the risk of measurement errors for a more accurate result
