Tamarindus indica (Pot Size 13cm) Tamarind

Tamarindus indica is a tropical tree valued for its delicate, fern-like compound leaves with a fine, feathery texture. The bright green leaflets close at night in a natural sleep movement. Young plants make striking houseplants for warm, bright rooms and have the potential to produce edible tamarind fruit after several years of growth.Position in bright, indirect light from a south-facing window. Keep the plant warm (15-25°C) and maintain humidity above 60% through regular misting or a pebble tray. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, keeping the compost moist but well-drained. Feed regularly during the growing season from March to September.
