Product details

The IRWIN Record Pro Entry Mechanic's Vice is an engineers' vice designed for reliable workshop clamping applications. Built to deliver dependable performance across general engineering and mechanical tasks, this 100mm (4 inch) vice combines precision engineering with practical features that matter to working professionals. Fully machined on all load bearing surfaces, this mechanic's vice ensures smooth and trouble-free operation throughout its service life. The Acme twin start thread design provides fast jaw adjustment, whilst the fused handle construction offers durability under regular workshop use. A safety stop prevents the slide from separating from the body, enhancing operational safety during demanding clamping tasks. The replaceable hardened steel jaws are heat-treated to 55 HRC, providing excellent grip and wear resistance when securing components for fabrication, maintenance or repair work. With a clamping capacity of 83mm and capable of delivering up to 1.5 tons of clamping force, this vice is well-suited to garage workshops, maintenance facilities and engineering environments where reliable component retention is essential.
