WHY THE SPITFIRE DESIGN MATTERS TO US
Our founder, Asgar, first saw Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfires regularly while stationed at RAF Coningsby. Nearly 40 years later, his wife and daughters gave him a two-seat Spitfire flight from Biggin Hill as a gift.
Flying out over the English Channel and returning towards the White Cliffs of Dover was a real bucket-list experience. At one point, the pilot climbed alongside another Spitfire before peeling away, giving Asgar a view of that unmistakable wing shape from the air.
As an ex-RAF technician, seeing the restoration work in the hangar was just as memorable. That personal connection is why we created this design as more than a Spitfire silhouette on a diary cover.
