THE FINER DETAILS

Product details

The Moore & Wright MW200-01 Analogue External Micrometer is a precision measuring instrument designed for accurate external dimension measurements up to 25mm. This professional-grade micrometer features a robust hammertone finish frame with an insulated grip to reduce heat transfer during use, ensuring measurement accuracy is not compromised by thermal expansion. The satin chrome scale provides clear, easy-to-read graduations whilst the tungsten carbide measuring faces deliver exceptional wear resistance for long-term reliability. Built to DIN 863/1 standards, this micrometer offers a resolution of 0.01mm with an accuracy of 0.004mm, making it ideal for precision engineering, quality control applications, and workshop measurement tasks. The tapered frame design allows easier access to difficult areas and confined spaces where standard micrometers may struggle to reach. The micrometer is equipped with a constant force ratchet mechanism that ensures consistent measuring pressure, eliminating operator variation and improving repeatability. A locking lever securely holds measurements in place for recording, whilst the included adjusting key allows for calibration maintenance. The instrument is supplied in a protective plastic case for safe storage and transportation between job sites. Features and Benefits: • Tungsten carbide measuring faces provide superior wear resistance and longevity • Insulated grip minimises heat transfer for accurate measurements • Constant force ratchet ensures consistent measuring pressure • Tapered design allows access to difficult areas • Locking lever holds measurements securely for recording • Supplied in protective plastic case for safe storage Specifications: Micrometer Type: External Metric/Imperial: Metric Min.
