THE FINER DETAILS

Product details

Hydrangea arborescens ‘Strong Annabelle’, often known as ‘Incrediball’, is a refined and improved form of the classic Annabelle, producing exceptionally large, dome-shaped white flower heads on much sturdier stems. The blooms emerge lime-green before maturing to crisp white, creating a luminous presence in shaded borders and woodland-style planting schemes. Unlike older varieties, the strengthened stems hold the heavy flower heads upright, even after summer rain.
The foliage is fresh green and softly textured, forming a generous mound that supports the bold floral display. Perfect for informal borders, courtyard gardens, and large containers, it pairs beautifully with ferns, hostas, astrantia, and soft grasses for a layered, naturalistic look. It also works well alongside other hydrangeas or underplanted with shade-tolerant perennials. Its long flowering period and reliable performance make it a standout feature in London gardens seeking structure and softness combined.
