Dicksonia Antarctica (Pot Size 20L) Tree Fern

Tree Ferns are native to Australia and New Zealand and create an instant effect in the garden with their long attractive green fronds that appear from the dark brown furry stems.
These highly valued Specimen ferns were introduced by accident as they were used as ballast on the hulls of merchant ships from New Zealand. Discarded stumps were found growing wild in the South West and this is how they became known to gardeners and became the latest craze. You have to admire the determination of the tree fern cut down and shipped to the UK as humble logs and as soon as they are planted they sprout such beautiful fronds.
