Product details

Cyclamen “Dragon Blue” is a captivating cultivar of Cyclamen persicum that brings an unusual lilac-blue tone to the cooler months — a colour seldom seen in cyclamens. According to RHS listings it is marketed as Cyclamen persicum ‘Dragon Blue’ / ‘Dragon Deep Blue’.  Its eye-catching blooms rise above a mound of marbled green foliage, creating elegant contrast in patio pots, window boxes or sheltered garden borders. Because of its compact habit, it works particularly well in containers or edged beds. It also transitions nicely indoors in a bright, cool room away from direct heat.
Plant it alongside silver-leafed plants (e.g. artemisia, euphorbia) or winter foliage companions (e.g. hellebores, evergreen ferns) for pleasing textural contrast. In milder UK regions or in sheltered locations, it can be used outdoors over the colder months; in colder areas it is often treated as a seasonal display, bringing winter interest where few other plants flower.
