Beautifully crafted by esteemed chessboard maker, Rechapados Ferrer of Spain, a natural 'tiger stripe' ebony and maple veneered construction is used for the playing surface. Modern fabrication techniques are used, resulting in a chessboard with clean, precise lines and very critical detailing.
