THE FINER DETAILS

Product details

This unusual succulent vine from Madagascar displays slender, twisting stems with tiny paired succulent leaves. During summer, delicate lantern-shaped flowers emerge in pale cream with distinctive dark maroon speckles, each featuring characteristic spiral tendrils hanging from the base of the corolla.
Position in bright indirect light less than 3 feet from a south-facing window, or near north or east-facing exposure. Water sparingly—allow soil to dry two-thirds of the way down the pot between waterings, as overwatering causes root rot. Use free-draining cactus or succulent compost with good drainage holes.
This beginner-friendly plant thrives in normal household temperatures (15–27°C) and adapts to average indoor humidity with no misting required. It is non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it safe for homes with pets. The trailing habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets where long, twisting shoots can cascade beautifully.
