The BeSafe Belt Guard is a practical safety accessory designed to support parents during a stage when children's curiosity turns into wriggling and they try to work their way out of their car seat harness. It's designed exclusively for use with BeSafe toddler car seats and helps prevent children from wriggling out of the harness during travel. The Belt Guard also encourages correct shoulder belt positioning for safer journeys. It's UN R129 approved, meeting strict requirements for size, function, and ease of opening. The BeSafe Belt Guard has been crash-tested at 50 km/h to UN R129 standards and has undergone internal testing by BeSafe at 72 km/h. It permanently attaches to BeSafe shoulder pads for everyday convenience. As children grow more aware of their surroundings, they may begin testing boundaries by pushing shoulder straps aside or attempting to slip their arms free, even when the harness has been correctly tightened. The BeSafe Belt Guard helps address this behavior by keeping the shoulder belts in place.
