Aucuba 'Mr GoldStrike' (Pot Size 3ltr)

Aucuba japonica 'Mr Goldstrike', commonly known as Japanese Laurel, is a highly decorative, evergreen shrub that brings year-round colour and interest to any UK garden. Supplied in a 3-litre pot, 'Mr Goldstrike' is distinguished by its large, glossy leaves heavily speckled with bright gold spots, creating a striking visual impact in shaded garden areas where few plants can thrive. This low maintenance shrub is ideal for creating dense, colourful hedges or as a statement plant in borders and woodland settings. It performs exceptionally well under a canopy of taller trees, in urban gardens with limited light, and even in polluted environments, making it a versatile choice for a variety of landscapes. 'Mr Goldstrike' pairs beautifully with darker green or purple-leaved plants, offering a vibrant contrast that enhances the overall appeal of your garden.
